i've done flr finishes of 2nd storey. this time much faster. for the very 1st day i started measuring, i felt i cannot concentrate, then not efficient at all. after that rin told me she needed the digitizer as well, then i speeded up, finished it yesterday. then boss told me i'm too fast now he dun have anything for me to do. i'm helping another QS to sort all the dwgs now. last week from monday to wednesday rin din come to work, then one of her boss got some legal documents need her to help to sort and list out. they wait till that wednesday, she still din come, then my boss spared me from my work, asked me to help rin's boss cos she needed the documents on thursday. 2 or 3 days work, i finished it within one day. so wednesday i worked till 5:45 pm, finally i finished sorting. legal issue is really troublesome and complicated.
after that my boss let me to do a complete BQ, from taking off quantity to $ eventually. my results not too wrong, but the problem is my presentation is not understandable by others rather than myself-_-!. this is my weakest link. presentation. related to communication skills. need improvement. there is always a standard. rin is not a very hard working gal as well. she not go for lesson often when school is going on, esp. she nearly skipped all lectures. her house is at pasir ris. but, once she came, she can concentrate. i can see she sit at her table and doing work for the whole afternoon, 4 hours. for me is like every 1 hrs i ll 'rest' for a while. other QS like my boss can also concentrate for longer time. at least for 2 hrs. concentrate, i cannot. but still better than school time, in school i cannot study for more than half an hour. tt the main problem that my study is very bad these yrs.
see quite interesting 'motto' on other's table. for the IT guy, there is a label on his comp, says 'WORK IS FOR SOMEONE WHO DUNNO HOW TO GOLF'. hahahaha. for our admin head, there says 'TELL ME AGAIN, HOW LUCKY I'M TO WORK HERE, I KEEP FORGETTING'. hehe. i like this one.
last week one day i went back by bus, there got a mother, her son, abt 10 yrs old, and her another child, still a baby, sit beside me on bus. mother on my rite, boy carried his sibling on my left. the baby quite curious abt me, kept touching me and staring at me. the boy seems to be a bit worried, he thought i might get annoyed. i juz smiled at the baby. then the boy also gave me a big smile. this boy takes very gd care of his baby sibling, he played with 'it', i could see he really enjoy playing together with his sibling. the boy so nice. can see that his heart is full of love. hahahahahaha. i feel cosy.
